Tarte Tatin
Ingredients

| 1 | Puff pastry or shortcrust pastry |
| 6 pcs (~ 1.25 kg) | Apples (Boskoop, Cox, Gala, Granny Smith) |
| 1 | Vanilla pod |
| 75 g | Butter |
| 70 g | Powdered sugar (or regular sugar) |
| 4 tbsp | Water |
| 1 – 2 tbsp | Lemon juice |
Preparation

Preparation Peel and core the apples, then cut into wedges. Drizzle with lemon juice.

Make caramel Caramelize the powdered sugar with water in a tatin pan. Add butter and vanilla pod seeds and let them melt.

Baking Place apple wedges tightly in the pan, put the pastry on top and press down lightly. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C (fan) for about 30 minutes.

Serve Turn out immediately and serve warm.
